Whatever – A Transdisciplinary Journal of Queer Theories and Studies exists to establish, support and facilitate a dialogue among researchers who work in any field related to queer studies anywhere in the world. Whatever is double-blind peer-reviewed, online, open-access; new issues appear once a year.

Westminster Papers in Communication and Culture (WPCC) wishes to engage international scholars in a critical debate about the relationship between communication, culture and society in the 21st century. WPCC is a peer-reviewed journal, published online. The interdisciplinary nature of the field of Media and Cultural Studies is reflected in the diverse methods, contexts and themes of the papers published. Areas of interest include – but are not limited to – the history and political economy of the media, popular culture, media users and producers, political communication and developments arising from digital technologies in the context of an increasingly globalized and networked world.

The Journal of Open Archaeology Data (JOAD) features peer reviewed data papers describing archaeology datasets with high reuse potential. We work with a number of specialist and institutional data repositories to ensure that the associated data are professionally archived, preserved, and openly available. Equally importantly, the data and the papers are citable, and reuse is tracked.

Asian Literature and Translation offers high quality translations of Asian literary sources and reflections on the theoretical and practical issues that attend upon translation (both in the past and present). It also publishes articles and comment pieces on Asian textual sources more generally, as well as work on the reception of Asian literature within and beyond the region.

The journal is at the crossroad of theoretical development and empirical examples related to learning resources, transformation processes, learning environments and digital resources. The subject areas covered include learning designs and resources, multimodal texts, didactic science and pedagogy. The journal accepts original articles and review articles after peer-review. The journal will also, in addition to the previous categories, publish some editorial material where discussions about theoretical or empirical perspectives can take place such as interviews or commentaries.

The Journal of Open Humanities Data (JOHD) features peer reviewed publications describing humanities data or techniques with high potential for reuse. Humanities subjects of interest to JOHD include, but are not limited to Art History, History, Linguistics, Literature, Music, Philosophy, Religious Studies, etc. Data that crosses one or more of these traditional disciplines are highly encouraged.

Elementa: Science of the Anthropocene is a trans-disciplinary, open-access journal committed to the facilitation of collaborative, peer-reviewed research. With the ultimate objective of accelerating scientific solutions to the challenges presented by this era of human impact, it is uniquely structured into six distinct knowledge domains, and gives authors the opportunity to publish in one or multiple domains, helping them to present their research and commentary to interested readers from disciplines related to their own.

Governance in Africa (GiA) is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal offering original research, expert commentary and policy briefings on a number of themes relevant to contemporary governance in Africa. Its objective is to build and consolidate knowledge in this field, to increase the reach and impact of research, and to influence policy at the highest levels. GiA features contributions from multiple disciplines and subfields including politics, economics, international relations, environment, sociology, law, development and human rights.
