MaHKUscript. Journal of Fine Art Research is a peer-reviewed international platform for artists, curators, theorists, research students and educators who consciously integrate research in their working practice. MaHKUscript focuses on the situation and position of research in the current Fine Art domain. Starting from the specificity of Fine Art practice it investigates the meaning of research for art, education, dissemination and the development of topical curatorial strategies.

Open Access journal of the University of California Press. The initial launch will include three core fields of study: Life and Biomedical Sciences, Ecology and Environmental Science, Social and Behavioral Sciences. Over the next several years we plan to expand into disciplines across science, humanities, and other emerging and important areas of research and scholarship.

The Journal of Conservation and Museum Studies is fully peer reviewed and Open Access. It contains research on conservation science, artefact studies, restoration, museum studies, environment studies, collection management and curation. Published from the UCL Institute of Archaeology from 1996 to 2002, the journal was relaunched in 2011 in collaboration with the British Library, with a newly constituted international editorial board.

UCL Press offers the OJS hosting service for UCL students and staff to produce and manage their own Open Access journals. Using Open Journal Systems software, journal articles are stored in UCL Discovery, while OJS provides the visible presentation layer of the journal. This service is provided free of charge by UCL Press.

Buildings & Cities is an international, open access, peer-reviewed academic journal publishing high-quality research and analysis on the interplay between the different scales of the built environment: buildings, blocks, neighbourhoods, cities, building stocks and infrastructures. The journal focuses on built environment policy, practices and outcomes and the range of human development, economic, environmental, political, social and technological issues occurring over the full life cycle in urban, suburban and rural contexts. It provides a platform for insights that can help improve the built environment. The Journal of European Psychology Students (JEPS) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal for psychology students worldwide. JEPS is run by highly motivated European psychology students and has been publishing since 2009. By ensuring that authors are always provided with extensive feedback, JEPS gives psychology students the chance to gain experience in publishing and to improve their scientific skills. Furthermore, JEPS provides students with the opportunity to share their research and to take a first step toward a scientific career.

Perspectives on Medical Education positions itself at the dynamic intersection of educational research and clinical education. This unique positioning reflects the journal’s mission to support and enrich collaborative scholarship between education researchers and clinical educators, and to advance new knowledge regarding clinical education practices. Reflecting this mission, the journal both welcomes original research papers arising from scholarly collaborations among clinicians, teachers and researchers and papers providing resources to develop the community’s ability to conduct such collaborative research. The journal’s audience includes researchers and practitioners: researchers who wish to explore challenging questions of health professions education and clinical teachers who wish to both advance their practice and envision for themselves a collaborative role in scholarly educational innovation. This audience of researchers, clinicians and educators is both international and interdisciplinary.

Psychologica Belgica is the official journal of the Belgian Association for Psychological Sciences (BAPS). BAPS promotes the development of psychological sciences in Belgium, at both fundamental and applied research levels. The journal ensures rigorous peer-review to maintain research integrity. Psychological Belgica makes publications available online as soon as they are finalised. All publications are open access, making research available free of charge and without delay.

Heeding Benjamin Franklin’s prescient proposal for “promoting useful knowledge,” the seeks to share useful innovations, both in thought and in practice, with the aim of encouraging scholarly exchange and the subsequent benefits that are borne of scrutiny, experimentation and debate. As modes of scholarly communication, the technologies and economics of publishing, and the roles of libraries evolve, it is our hope that the work shared in this journal will inform practices that strengthen librarianship and that increase access to the “common Stock of Knowledge.” JLSC is particularly interested in the intersection of librarianship and publishing, and the resulting roles for libraries in both content dissemination and content creation. Related areas of interest include: new methods for the creation, dissemination and exchange of information; the theory and practice of the organization, use and curation of information; and issues related to the review, credentialing, reputation and impact of scholarly work.

Body, Space & Technology (BST) is a leading journal of contemporary artistic practice and research and joined the OLH platform in Summer 2017. Since it launched in 2000, BST has built a strong reputation for scholarly quality and innovation, as well as fostering a global academic community around its published content. BST publishes research into artistic practice that engages with digital technologies, particularly as these relate to bodily interaction and creativity, and in multi-disciplinary perspectives.
