  • The Journal of Open Humanities Data (JOHD) features peer reviewed publications describing humanities data or techniques with high potential for reuse. Humanities subjects of interest to JOHD include, but are not limited to Art History, History, Linguistics, Literature, Music, Philosophy, Religious Studies, etc. Data that crosses one or more of these traditional disciplines are highly encouraged.

  • Asian Literature and Translation offers high quality translations of Asian literary sources and reflections on the theoretical and practical issues that attend upon translation (both in the past and present). It also publishes articles and comment pieces on Asian textual sources more generally, as well as work on the reception of Asian literature within and beyond the region.

  • Governance in Africa (GiA) is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal offering original research, expert commentary and policy briefings on a number of themes relevant to contemporary governance in Africa. Its objective is to build and consolidate knowledge in this field, to increase the reach and impact of research, and to influence policy at the highest levels. GiA features contributions from multiple disciplines and subfields including politics, economics, international relations, environment, sociology, law, development and human rights.

  • The journal is at the crossroad of theoretical development and empirical examples related to learning resources, transformation processes, learning environments and digital resources. The subject areas covered include learning designs and resources, multimodal texts, didactic science and pedagogy. The journal accepts original articles and review articles after peer-review. The journal will also, in addition to the previous categories, publish some editorial material where discussions about theoretical or empirical perspectives can take place such as interviews or commentaries.

  • Digital Medievalist (DM) publishes work of original research and scholarship, theoretical articles on digital topics, notes on technological topics, commentary pieces discussing developments in the field, bibliographic and review articles, tutorials, and project reports. The journal also commissions reviews of books and major electronic sites and projects. All contributions are reviewed before publication by authorities in humanities computing. Submissions to DM should concern topics likely to be of interest to medievalists working with digital media, though they need not be exclusively medieval in focus. They should be of a length appropriate to the subject under discussion.
