  • The IPD-MHC Database provides a centralised repository for sequences of the Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) from a number of different species. Through a number of international collaborations IPD is able to provide the MHC sequences of different species. The sequences provided by each group are curated by experts in the field and then submitted to the central database.

Research data are described by the metadata following the BonaRes Metadata Schema (DOI: 10.20387/bonares-5pgg-8yrp) which combines international recognized standards for the description of geospatial data and research data. Metadata includes AGROVOC keywords.

It contains tools that provide for integration of these properties in a given type of neuron and compartment, and for comparison of properties across different types of neurons and compartments.
