The journal of Groups, Complexity, Cryptology is an international journal publishing high quality papers in the following areas: combinatorial and computational group theory; complexity theory; cryptology. The journal welcomes papers in any of these three areas (including, but not limited to, papers which combine these topics). The journal publishes both research papers (containing new and original results) and survey articles (which provide an overview of a field of research within the scope of the journal).

The JIPS journal was created in 2008 by the Francophone Association for Human-Computer Interaction (AFIHM). The JIPS journal is a successor to the Review of Human-Machine Interaction (RIHM) that was founded in 1997 and active until 2007, when it became the Journal of Human Mediated Interactions. RIHM was chaired successively by Jean Caelen & Khaldoun Zreik, followed by Bertrand David & Christophe Kolski. From 2008 to 2012, JIPS was chaired by Jean-Daniel Fekete, Pierre Dragicevic and Nicolas Roussel

Created in 2016, JIMIS (ISSN: 2430-3038) is a new international peer-reviewed journal in English or French: « Journal of Interdisciplinary Methodologies and Issues in Science ». It is original because it covers cross-disciplinary topics and issues. Firstly, the editors of a volume propose a topic common to several disciplines. It may be a methodological issue or a thematic area. Authors are then invited to submit articles in English or French, that offer a particular methodological or epistemological point of view on the issue, related to their skills and discipline. How did the authors solve the problem? What methods were used? What is the philosophical position of their proposition? JIMIS much appreciates articles which break away from author's own scientific approaches and put the results obtained in a critical scientific perspective. Heeding Benjamin Franklin’s prescient proposal for “promoting useful knowledge,” the seeks to share useful innovations, both in thought and in practice, with the aim of encouraging scholarly exchange and the subsequent benefits that are borne of scrutiny, experimentation and debate. As modes of scholarly communication, the technologies and economics of publishing, and the roles of libraries evolve, it is our hope that the work shared in this journal will inform practices that strengthen librarianship and that increase access to the “common Stock of Knowledge.” JLSC is particularly interested in the intersection of librarianship and publishing, and the resulting roles for libraries in both content dissemination and content creation. Related areas of interest include: new methods for the creation, dissemination and exchange of information; the theory and practice of the organization, use and curation of information; and issues related to the review, credentialing, reputation and impact of scholarly work.
