Gladius publishes scientific contributions on the following subjects: Arms and Armour, Military History and Polemology, from the earliest times until the end of the Eighteenth century, mainly in the Iberian Peninsula, Europe, Islam and the Americas, although other contributions will be considered. It also contains a section on scientific discussion and reviews.

The peer-reviewed student journal Sacra publishes academic texts in the field of studies of religions and serves as a platform for students and aspiring researchers to publish the outputs of their research projects and theses, as well as to share contacts and practical information about the field. The journal has been published since 2003 in two issues per year in cooperation with the Department for the Study of Religion at the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University in Brno. The main aim of the journal is to provide a platform for the publication of studies, essays, polemics, interviews, reviews and reports of students of the master, doctoral and undergraduate studies of religion and related fields.

Slavica litteraria is a peer reviewed scholarly journal publishing original articles in the field of Slavonic literary studies, comparative literary studies and area studies with the orientation on Slavonic studies. The function of the journal is the development and the cultivation of the research Slavonic literatures which would create the space for the presentation of new knowledge and new methodological streams and for the scholarly permeability between philological and other humanities in accordance with rich traditions and contemporary range and depth of Brno Slavonic studies.

Archivo Español de Arte, a specialized quarterly journal publishing only original articles, was founded in 1925 by the “Council for the Furtherance of Scientific Studies and Research” (Junta para la Ampliación de Estudios e Investigaciones Científicas). Archivo Español de Arte is dedicated to research in all areas of the history of Spanish Art and foreign art in relation to Spain, from the Middle Ages to the present. This publication is oriented preferably to the research and university community, both national and international, as well as to all professionals in the art field.

Czech Journal of Political Science/Politologický časopis is a peer-reviewed journal published by the International Institute of Political Science of Masaryk University in Brno. It is the first peer-reviewed political science periodical issued in the Czech Republic. The first issue of the journal was released in 1994. Each year, three issues of the journal are published. The journal provides a platform for presenting the outcomes of original political science research and thus significantly contributes to political science as a scholarly discipline and its establishment among other social sciences. The journal publishes articles, reviews, review essays, and information on events in the political science community. The topics cover the areas of political philosophy and theory, comparative political science, political sociology, policy analysis, European studies, international relations and security studies.

Museologica Brunensia is a peer-reviewed international scientific journal publishing original research papers, methodical and informational texts, reviews and reports in the field of museology and museums. The aim is to present museology as a modern scientific discipline exerting influence on the museum practice. The journal is published by Masaryk University (Department of Archaeology and Museology, Faculty of Arts, MU). Museologica Brunensia has been issued twice a year since 2012.

Hispania Sacra appeared in 1948. Since then it has been publishing research articles on Religious History, following the course and changes in Historiography. Hispania Sacra publishes articles related to History of Religion, with special emphasis on the Hispanic World, written in Spanish, English, French, Italian, or Portuguese. It continues the task and orientation of Missionalia Hispanica.

Founded in 1951, Anales Cervantinos holds contributions on the thoughts and views around the figure of Cervantes, not only on the man and his work, but also on every aspect in his background: the society, the scenary, the times... With sections such as Studies, Notes, Books reviews, etc, Anales Cervantinos is the only monographic scientific Journal in Spain dedicated to author of Don Quixote.

Since 1945 Estudios Geologicos publishes original research works, as well as reviews, about any topic on Earth Sciences. Estudios Geologicos is currently a full open-access journal and publishes one yearly volume, divided into two half-yearly issues. It is edited by the Spanish National Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, CSIC) at the Instituto de Geociencias (CSIC-UCM).

Czech Polar Reports is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal. It is issued 2 times a year. The journal is dedicated to provide original research papers for sciences related to the polar regions and other planets with polar analogues. Mission The mission of Czech Polar Reports is to stimulate physical, chemical, biological research in polar regions and publish high-quality papers covering a wide range of fields. The journal scope is polar paleontology, geology, geochemistry, geomorphology, glaciology, hydrology, pedology, biochemistry, ecology, environmental science, microbiology, and all disciplines of plant and animal biology. The main emphasis is given to original and multidisciplinary papers.
