It is an open access bi-annual journal and is published by Institute of Urdu Language and Literature, University of the Punjab (Pakistan). Its main aim is to provide a platform for the researchers, academicians, professionals and students to share their knowledge with the others in the form of good quality research papers from all over the world. BAZYAFT focuses on modern trends of literary research and criticism in the subject of Urdu Language and Literature, but regards the classical tradition of Urdu poetry and fiction too. Research papers which address the links between Urdu and other languages and their literature are also considered for publishing in this journal. BAZYAFT is committed to publishing the wide range of new topics of research on one important criterion that is literary and critical excellence.

  • Anglo Saxonica is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes original and innovative research on a variety of issues relevant to the study of English(es), broadly understood both as language and as all the literatures and cultures of the English-speaking world. In so doing, Anglo Saxonica also promotes dialogue among English-speaking geocultural areas. Its editorial policy promotes the thematic cohesion of each volume, open to different academic approaches on current issues in English and American studies, including original research articles, reviews, interviews and selections of creative writing. The journal also publishes special issues with a particular thematic focus that are guest-edited by leading scholars in the field. All the works submitted, in English or in Portuguese, are subjected to initial appraisal by the editors and, if found suitable for further consideration, to double blind peer review by independent expert referees. Anglo Saxonica is indexed in Scopus, ERIH PLUS and MLA Directory of Periodicals and is hosted at the University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies.
