The Journal of Educational Data Mining (JEDM; ISSN: 2157-2100) is an international and interdisciplinary forum of research on computational approaches for analyzing electronic repositories of student data to answer educational questions. Afrika und Übersee, founded in 1910 by Carl Meinhof under the name "Zeitschrift für Kolonialsprachen," is the oldest academic journal for African linguistics worldwide. It has been since one of the most important academic journals for the dissemination of research on African languages and their social and historical contexts. The journal publishes articles and special issues from a broad range of topics that cover various subfields of linguistics. Publishing primary linguistic data and analyses, and the promotion of young scientists and authors from Africa is of key interest in the tradition of Afrika und Übersee. Since 2021, Afrika und Übersee is published online as an open access journal by the Abteilung für Afrikanistik und Äthiopistik in the Asien-Afrika-Institut at Universität Hamburg. The journal accepts articles written in English, French, or German. Submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.

The Journal of Conservation and Museum Studies is fully peer reviewed and Open Access. It contains research on conservation science, artefact studies, restoration, museum studies, environment studies, collection management and curation. Published from the UCL Institute of Archaeology from 1996 to 2002, the journal was relaunched in 2011 in collaboration with the British Library, with a newly constituted international editorial board.

UCL Press offers the OJS hosting service for UCL students and staff to produce and manage their own Open Access journals. Using Open Journal Systems software, journal articles are stored in UCL Discovery, while OJS provides the visible presentation layer of the journal. This service is provided free of charge by UCL Press.

The Journal of European Psychology Students (JEPS) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal for psychology students worldwide. JEPS is run by highly motivated European psychology students and has been publishing since 2009. By ensuring that authors are always provided with extensive feedback, JEPS gives psychology students the chance to gain experience in publishing and to improve their scientific skills. The Journal of Historical Syntax (JHS) presents theoretically-informed papers dealing with any aspect of historical syntax, whether diachronic change or the synchronic description of historical language states. Papers that combine philological expertise with insights from linguistic theory are particularly welcome, though no particular theory or framework will be given precedence.
