It is a peer-reviewed, bi-annual journal with both online (https://www.jumr.co.in) and print versions. The online version provides open access to its contents with no subscription or pay-per-view fees from readers. The journal attempts to provide a platform for undergraduate medical students, for publication and wider dissemination of original research undertaken by them during their undergraduate years. In addition, the journal also considers for publication brief research articles, special articles, case reports, and letters to the editor from them. Review articles and editorials, of importance to the undergraduate medical students, are welcome from students and faculty alike, for publication in the journal.
