The concept of sustainability was first mentioned at the World Environmental Conference, held in Stockholm in 1972.However,in Brundtland Report published by the UN Comission on Environment and Development in 1987, it was also defined as the concept of sustainable development and today its scope has been expanded thoroughly. The concept of sustainability is based on the idea of reducing environmental problems as well as preserving the natural structure of the environment. Along with the needs of the next generations, the aim of bringing the idea of long-term sustainable consumption to daily life without putting the whole World in danger reveals the importance of this concept. Protecting the environment will only be possible if individuals have the confidence to act with an edequate environmental awareness. In this context, school as educational istitutions should strictly follow the principles of sustainable development as a whole, including their students, teachers, administrators, assistant staff and families. The ESST Project aims to contribute to their target audience, who develop empathy for all lifestyles , adopt sustainability as a life principle , can look at nature as a whole and be aware of the effects of their beavior on nature. In addition,it will contribute to the development of basic skills and competences (Science and Social Science , Language,ICT, etc.) by supporting its partivipants a academically.By including disadvantaged student groups in the Project , they will increase their loyalty to school, remove social barriers and work specifically to raise therir academic success. In addition , it will enable the exchange of good practices by acting with an environmental action plan to learn and transfer the successful practices that the partners are carrying aut locally. For ESST Project , 5 EU member countries (Germany,Lithuania,Croatia,Spain,Italy) with a cordidate country (Turkey) schools have been met. These are successful practices to create environmental awareness by adopting local sustainability principles. They adopted the principle of “think global, act locally”fort he solution and prepared an EU sized sustainability education action plan under the coordination of the Turkish school. Each school has prepared a transnational education activity (LTT) fort the project within the framework of the practices and expertise they focus on locally (6 pieces). They will also take leadership in the tasks to be carrried out during the Project and in the outputs that will emerge.Topics to be covered in transnational education activities are climate change effects, nutrition, biodiversity, carbon footprint, energy and waste management (resycling) within the scope of environmental sustainability.A total of 120 students and 60 teachers will participate in the transnational trainings.Students will be selected from the 12-15 age range. Apart from this, schools will make and expand the activities they will perform locally within the framework of the activity plan prepared, open to all student groups.Qualitative and quantitative measurement tools that will be used for measuring Project objectives are also determined. These are;-Pre and post tests(Wise human test, what kind pf consumer you are)-Achievement tests at the end of the activity (Kahoot)-Written grades and caurse success of participating students.-Teachers evaluation reports and feedback after the activity-Number of students attending environmental clubs in schools.-Participant profiles in in-school and out of-school activities.-Activity minutes (Attendancy, duration, number of participants)-Numerical data of social media accounts (follawers, views, comments and likes)-Written and visual press news. The education and trainning outcomes that will emerge at the end of the Project are;-E-journal(3 months,6 issues)-Sustainability agenda-Mini greenhouses, seed libraries, project commemorative forests.-Intelligence game named Defeated Pollutant.-Sustainable recipes book.-Information corners with zero waste campaign.-ESST Project Effective Consumer Law.-eTwinning Project and potential quality labels -Social clubs and social media accounts they control-Sample lesson and activity plans , video, photographt etc. Materials.Within the framework of the Project is dissemination activity plan, the priority of the schools to be followed fort he target audience and stakeholders at the local level in the visibility of the Project, the promotion of the work done and the announcement of the results; all students at schools (4600) and their families, educational institutions in the immediate vicinity, local government agencies, relevant NGO’s.Transnationally, the website and social media addresses will be opened with the Project, and the eTwinning Project will be launched and implemented simultaneously with the Project within the scope 2020,eTwinning “Climate change and environmental challenges year.”

"The main objective of our project which is titled Life is maths around us. The aim is to increase levels of achievement and interest in science, technology, and mathematics, with the priority of reinforcing the development of key competences. The main problem that was noticed by all partners was the pupils low scores in their exams, tests, or PISA tests, especially in mathematics. This problem is what inspired the emergence of this project and its attempts to raise the interest of students in science through engaging activities. All of the activities of the project are purposefully carried out to achieve this goal. The target group of the project is students who share one thing in common and that is boredom in classical mathematics lessons. The project involves students with different abilities, even those with special needs. Teachers are also lifelong innovators who are not afraid to try or make mistakes. The parents of students are those who want a comprehensive and quality education for their children. The project will involve about 1200 students in those various activities. The tasks will be done by about 360 students. We believe that more than 80 teachers and about 200 families will contribute too and feel the impact of the project. There will be 20 students living in vulnerable families. The project will be conducted in six stages, and for each stage, one school will be responsible for everyone from their own schools involved in similar activities. With these same activities during mutual school visits. They are to coincide with the priorities highlighted in the project. The project includes six school meetings organized in each partner's training schedule. Each meeting is planned from the perspective of school preparations and is made to present the results of these activities. Which includes exhibitions, lectures, and presentations. All results are published on the project's website (PADLET), school websites and on the e-Twinning platform. During the meeting, the host school organizes educational research and cultural activities for students. Presenting its best practices and results showing strong teaching areas to guest teachers. Schools are not constrained in their choice of methods for action, but they must be focused on the choice of topic which is the backbone of the schools' process. We will raise the results of the maths exams and tests for the schools, on 3-5% is likely, but we will certainly encourage a lot of the students to do research, explore the world and discover many wonderful things. For this, we have prepared unique and attractive project activities during the meetings. Between meetings, students will do many original creative activities. Attracting the interest of these young people, with the view of helping them to get to know the world better. The project's activities will provide more knowledge, curiosity, and self-confidence among the students. During project meetings, students will learn how to communicate with younger students whose English is not quite as advanced as theirs. Helping them with making the right choices, adapting to other cultures and traditions, encouraging them to be far-reaching multicultural European citizens. Such students will not drop out of science at a young age. With the hope that they will find their favorite hobby and realize that science is important and has a place in society. Teachers from six different countries in Europe and Asia will have the opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences. Allowing them to observe different methods of teaching, and trying out new strategies for two years. Each country will create one student exercise and discovery book, which will have at least 6 tasks. So we will have 6 unique exercise-books for extra work, lasting the students for some years. We will create 6 different tangible maths games with puzzles and 96 cards for mental counting that they will find in every school's library. All of the methodological material on the six maths integration topics will be available to everyone on the e-twinning platform. There will also share ""PI day"" ideas and tasks, 4 Nature Research Methods, 4 computer games that will be created during the project. We will create 10 STL files ready for 3D printing that will create building details, dominoes, and geometric bodies for math games. All these intellectual assets will be made available on the e-Twining platform and accessible to every innovative teacher. This project is a follow up to the Active, Attractive and interactive EU Mathematics project. Our project may also be complemented in the future by other more recent mathematical teaching methods, with the integration of other subjects and practical life issues. Each school will be able to continue the celebration of maths days, practical works with the following generations of students. And of course, discover something new. Well, beautiful relationships between people can last for the rest of their lives."

"Secondary School of Camarate is integrated in the Priority Educational Intervention Programme (TEIP). Our project intends to implement intervention actions in the school and in the community, oriented to: the inclusion of the students; the improvement of their academic course; fight school failure and early dropout; improve the transition from school to working life. The project is an opportunity to achieve some objectives that the school aims, as it allows the knowledge of other realities, exchange of experiences and sharing of experiences and values. In an Europe that is intended to be inclusive and with an increasing migrant population, especially in the countries of the South, it is intended to: strengthen transnational networks for the sharing of inclusive ideas, practices and methods; mobilize the Cultural and Intangible Heritage as promoter of Inclusion and develop strategies that allow intercultural dialogue, developing in students the feeling of belonging as a citizen with rights and duties in the European context. The project integrates five schools of regular and professional education in Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Spain and Lithuania. The age of the participating students is between 14-19 years. Staff and teachers from multidisciplinary groups will participate. It has partner entities such as ISCTE(Lisbon University Institute), Ceramics Institute and respective local authorities. The six planned flows were designed according the objectives of the project, having as structuring bases the Cultural Patrimony as a triggering element of the actions to be developed. -1st flow, ""Culture and Inclusion in a migrant society"" intends to establish common procedures, build the first learning tools and assess the viability of initial planning; - 2nd flow, ""Look at me and tell me what you see!"", is about knowing aspects of the history and culture of the participating countries. It is intended that each country has a more real perspective of how it is seen by the partners, demystifying stereotypes; -3rd flow, ""Languages and Literatures, Oral and Intangible Heritage"" will be made a linguistic project based on the oral and intangible heritage of each country, shared on digital platforms. During the mobility, the partners will do their presentations using digital tools and platforms and building an educational game; 4th flow, ""Festivals and traditions allied to the gastronomy"" will be gathered information about festivals and typical gastronomic traditions of each country and its origin. The students present to the school community a typical dish of their country and from the countries where some migrant students come from. In this flow, partner countries should be accompanied by one or more typical ingredients to make a traditional dinner; 5th flow, ""Art, History and Built Heritage"", a selection of information about the country of origin will be collected for four topics: a) gastronomy, b) music, c) sport and d) monuments. This collection will be worked in stages and its aim is the creation of a story about the culture of each of the partners. The presentation of the works will be carried out in podcast, videos and photographs and performed in a cultural peddy-paper; -6th flow ""One World, Many Languages and Many Peoples"", each country search for relevant built heritage researching the areas of origin of some migrant students, as well as other forms of Art. A Brainstorming contest will be performed as well a cultural fair. The methodologies used allow continual monitoring of the evolution of the project. Several evaluation tools will be used: a) opinion questionnaire; b) grids of school results; c) collection of evidence in the minutes of the class council; d) application of a satisfaction / evaluation questionnaire to the participants in the flows; e) creation of a logbook to monitor the activities and results of the process; f) accounting for pedagogical tools and didactic resources produced. Opinion questionnaires are applied at the beginning and end of the project and in the course of each mobility. Process evaluation is done between coordinators and participants at the end of each flow. The dissemination of the project involves: a) the holding of a series of conferences on the theme ""Culture and Inclusion"", with researchers from ISCTE-IUL, with studies in the area of integration and social intervention; presentation of the project and results achieved; c) fair and cultural moment as a show of learning; d) use of the platforms: Etwinning, School Education Gateway or the Erasmus + Project Results Platform; school newsletter, project’s Web page, School Library Network and city halls e) publish an e-book with the produced materials and the critical thinking carried out, that will serve as reference of good practices. As potential longer term benefits, the strategies and materials produced in the project will be used to change the way foreign students are welcome and integrated towards effective inclusion."

"The reasoning behind this project is: School violence is just one of the manifestations of daily violence. Debates on the relationship between the concept of ""right to safety"" and the school environment have gained a steady and constant development in Europe, with country-to-country differences, becoming officially a political issue following an expert meeting organized by the European Commission in Utrecht , in 1997. Because violence is a global problem in schools, the project includes various activities, methods, tools and tips for the education departments. The target group is primary school, gymnasium and high school teachers and students as a first step. This is because we want to analyze and see the broad picture of aggression in the school of different ages and different needs. At the next step we aim to attract families into the project. Our goal is to keep family awareness on this subject. The proposed objectives are:- Teacher training through the exchange of experience in the 4 LTTs within the project (96 teachers will participate)- to develop an innovative methodology to reduce the violence phenomenon in educational establishments by 5%- increasing the use of active-participatory methods of school teachers;- to teach students to recognize aggression;- minimize aggression and early school leaving.- teach students how to deal with different social situations.-A total of 46 students (with 22 teachers) will participate directly in the two LTT activities within the project. The project is aimed at a number of 2000 pupils, of which 200 pupils with ""CES"" and a number of 170 teachers from the 6 countries. In order to achieve our goals, we will use the methods below:- workshops - for teachers- Short-term professional development training;- Seminar Round Table:- constructive learning - good practice for pupils - research - experiment – observation- questions - interview - chestnuts- Collaboration - Teamwork Some of our teaching-learning-training activities will be;- seminars, workshops;- flyer, calendar, magazines, e-book, book;- Drawings, poems, theater.Expected results and potential long-term and short-term benefits,- Long-term opportunities to develop new contacts with partner schools in order to establish future partnerships - Obtaining skills to manage international projects- The ability to grow new, more tolerant and understanding generations - Raising awareness of violence and its consequences.- Teachers will be able to implement new learned methods and techniques;- raising the level of intercultural knowledge of participation- a better knowledge of EU values- dissemination of good practice- learning between different types of schools involved in education- Using ""TIC"" and enriching the knowledge of English lb."
