Sport is one of the best ways to stimulate our pupils to adopt healthier lifestyle. Therefore the pupils should be encouraged to take up different sport activities outside of the school ground as well. Wishing to create an unitary community among all five partners involved in the current project, we built a model of a mini-European community united by the idea of a healthy lifestyle. The current project was needed to enhance the European dimension of education in our schools by promoting joint co-operation activities with schools from different European countries, to encourage students to play sport actively and take care about their health. To help pupils and teachers to acquire and improve skills not only in the topic or subject area on which the project is focused, but also in terms of teamwork, social relations, planning and undertaking project activities. The mobility of students was the best way to realize common European ways of educating and of the exchange of experiences and knowledge and to promote the European dimension and languages. The project aimed to integrate PE at school with active sport and outdoor games. It laid the foundations of a new beginning, changes and improvement in the health status of the students. Improvement of the knowledge levels and appreciation of the benefits from active and healthy way of living motivated the young people to be more physically active and created a new healthy approach to sports. Besides our project tried establish “games” not only as sport activities. They can be used also to motivate children with learning difficulties and their families as well. We counted on our teachers to incorporate more games into their teaching methods so as to make the curriculum more interesting and accessible. Another purpose of our project was to mix the sport activities in school with tourism and ecology. We aimed to change and better the health of our pupils by educating them on the benefits of the healthy way of life and motivate them to adapt an active way of life.Environmental issues were very important for us because we aspired to organize a lot of school activities out in the nature. That is why it is very important to install a sense of awareness to the environment in the young people. Furthermore besides being helpful for our physical and emotional health, the sport also can bring together pupils from different countries and ethnic backgrounds.

To reach this main goal our objective was to create a pedagogical tool, a kind of guidebook with several methods and activities to teach values to pupils from 6 to 15 years old. By the time the project was thought there was no legal framework in schools to teach citizenship. This is the reason why and how seven schools from different countries (Portugal, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia) sharing the same concern and being aware of the relevance of education for citizenship and the lack of specific pedagogical tools and guidelines to teach values in school, worked together during three years to improve citizenship teaching and learning and created a ""guidebook"" for other teachers. The project was based on three main ideas:Diversity (learning about ourselves and each other for better mutual understanding), Unity (by learning about European common values shared by all European citizens) and Contribution for a better world by individual and collective action (being aware of each person's role on making a better world, by living according to those values). First, each school searched about its own history and culture, by studying local myths and legends and looking for the values under them; then studying local and national heroes, and visiting historical places and relating them to any national/ ethical values. This was our strategy to help students to find the European common values through the acceptance of their own traditions and cultural values.During the second and third years all partners searched, created and gathered new methods, strategies, activities, educational games to teach and learn values at school, which were written down in a common form and tested in each school with the classes involved in the project. The methods that seemed to be efficient were shared with all partners to be experimented also in other countries' schools. The most interesting activities were selected to be tried with groups of students from different countries during the pupils' exchanges in Italy, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Lithuania and assessed by teachers and participants on those activities / games. Finally, (2nd and 3rd years) all partners contributed to the booklet with the best methods and games collected and tried by all schools. This guide book with the methods to teach and learn European citizenship was made during the third year and was the main final product of the project. It was prepared in two versions: printed and digital book. This eBook was shared and spread all over the countries to be used by many schools at regional, national and European level..This project had also a creative /artistic dimension for students, with different common activities to promote creativity and team work which produced nice material products: paintings inspired in national legends, a piece of art / handcraft inspired in culture and values (one per country), the lyrics for the project song using a Beatles' music and the creative and collective writing during all project: students participants at the project meetings worked together, as a team, to create a collective story about an “ideal world” where all live according to the universal values. This collaborative work was done during the pupils’ exchanges, where they also learned some ICT tools to help them with the presentation of outcomes. Concerning the collective story project's work was done in phases, one part during each pupils' exchange meeting and finished in Lithuania (October/19) a bit later than the planned date, because students needed more time to finish it. This story was illustrated and we made an eBook and a printed version of it. We had a strong engagement of students during the project activities, mainly the methods' experiments to which assessment they contributed to. Our guide book was shared and spread in all partner countries as a relevant tool for all teachers. Each partner school organized dissemination events (teachers conferences opened to local community) to spread the project product. Portuguese team made a pen drive containing the eBook and other project products and offered it to all headteachers from many schools of the region, who participated at the ""Citizenship European Conference"", organized by Portuguese School, which also made postcards with the methods written on it, to send to many schools (every school year) inviting teachers to use our guidebook. The eBook was also posted on the project web site (7colours.eu), eTwinning (my twinspace) and on the project page on Facebook. All guide book contents are printable and available to any teacher."

The project is aimed at students aged 14-18. They are primary and secondary school students. The project will involve around 70-100 students and about 20 teachers from each school. We would like to engage people who are interested in science as well as students with learning difficulties. The main goal of the project is to improve science education in the practical application of knowledge in everyday life, learn new teaching methods in the subjects and exchange experiences in this field with partners from other countries. The priority of the project is Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics. Our priority is to increase the quality and attractiveness of science subjects in schools - mathematics, physics, natural sciences, geography, chemistry and computer science. The aim of the project is to make science classes more attractive and show their practical aspects, develop students' creativity, further motivate them to use creative learning and be active. As for weaker students, they will get additional stimuli to develop their interest in scientific subjects and overcome learning difficulties. The aim of the project is to use mathematics and computer science in practice, the application of modern technologies in creation and communication of robots, the use of the latest digital communication techniques, foreign language development in the field of technical concepts and communication in everyday life. All the factors will improve the quality of academic standards in all the schools implementing the project. As part of the implemented project, we anticipate to undertake the following activities:1. Collaboration in making lesson plans for scientific subjects resulting from the exchange of experiences, methods and materials between partners that will teach specific issues in each, particular subjects.2. Giving regular open lessons both at their home schools and during the planned mobility using ICT.3. Interdisciplinary games, giving a chance to shape general knowledge in the field of mathematics and natural sciences. The games will be created in detail during the preparation of the project, e.g.: mathematical stalking game.4. The cycle of workshops entitled ""Science subjects in the kitchen"" that will use the knowledge of physics and chemistry in the process of preparing dishes, and during which students will have the opportunity to present their regional dishes.5. Geographical and cognitive field activities with the use of traditional maps and GPS in smartphones, which will help students to learn the tourist values of the states involved in the project by making and presenting online presentations.6. Programming an international robot performing specific tasks set by all partner schools. Students will begin the configuration and programming of the basic elements of the robot. Then, by communicating on the internet, they will establish contact and, by giving commands with their e.g. smartphones, they will check the correctness of the implemented commands and verify the accuracy of the performed tasks.7. Holding an international competition in mathematics and natural sciences involving mixed teams.8. Science and Robotics Fair as an activity summarizing the results of the joint undertakings. During the Fair physical and chemical experiments, mathematical quizzes and puzzles will be presented as well as robots built during the project implementation. The methods used in the implementation of the operations will be methods activating students, methods of learning from each other, self-presentation, creative action, self-reflection, as well as observation of classes, modern technologies supporting the didactic process, research and group work. The expected results of the project are the following:- to increase of scientific and linguistic competences of the participants - to increase motivation to learn- the ability to correlate cross-curricular knowledge and to identify practical aspects of its application- through the international teamwork and the improvement of their linguistic abilities, the participants will extend their knowledge and improve their skills, which will increase their social and personal competences- the participation in the project will allow teachers to supplement traditional teaching methods, to make their work more attractive and encourage self-reflection. This will make them to increase their support for gifted students and those poor ones. In the long run, we expect this will have a big impact on the creation of a database of didactic resources which will allow to give lessons in innovative ways, to introduce new issues into the curricula and stimulate students' cognitive aspirations. The implementation of the project will add to raising the academic standards and the attractiveness of the school in the local community."
