    L’anisakiasi è una zoonosi parassitaria di origine alimentare sostenuta da larve al terzo stadio (L3) di nematodi appartenenti alla famiglia Anisakidae ed in particolare al genere Anisakis. Soprattutto in seguito alla recente emergenza di sindromi allergiche da Anisakis, l’EFSA nel 2010 ha pubblicato un parere scientifico sui rischi correlati alla presenza di parassiti zoonotici in prodotti ittici, considerando sicura la pratica d’allevamento del salmone atlantico (Salmo salar) in quanto, se allevati partendo da avannotti prodotti in sistemi chiusi e alimentati sempre con mangime inerte, questi animali presenterebbero un rischio di infestazione da larve di Anisakis trascurabile. Su questa base, il Reg. UE n. 1276/2011, che modifica l’allegato III del Reg. CE n. 853\2004, puntualizza la possibile deroga al trattamento di congelamento, obbligatorio per i prodotti della pesca destinati ad essere consumati sotto forma di preparazioni a rischio (crudi, marinati, affumicati a freddo, ecc.), per i prodotti ittici derivanti da allevamento quando vengono rispettati i criteri definiti dall’EFSA analogamente al salmone atlantico. Appare quindi d’importanza strategica fornire dati scientifici estesi ed attendibili sull’assenza di parassiti zoonotici nei prodotti della maricoltura mediterranea non solo ai fini di una loro migliore qualificazione commerciale ma anche per una più facile applicabilità di tale deroga da parte delle autorità competenti. Nell’ambito delle attività di ricerca previste dal progetto europeo H2020 ParaFishControl “Advanced Tools and Research Strategies for Parasite Control in European farmed fish”, da marzo 2016 a giugno 2017 è stato condotto un esteso monitoraggio parassitologico in spigole (Dicentrarchus labrax) ed orate (Sparus aurata) allevate in Italia. Le attività di campionamento hanno coinvolto 4 allevamenti nazionali, di cui 3 in gabbie galleggianti ed uno in vasche a terra, prelevando almeno 258 esemplari per specie/allevamento suddivisi in 4 campionamenti a cadenza stagionale per un totale di 1040 spigole e 1090 orate. La numerosità campionaria è stata calcolata in modo da ottenere almeno il 95% di probabilità di evidenziare un esemplare positivo con prevalenza >2%. Per la ricerca di larve di nematodi Anisakidae sono stati associati: esame visivo diretto e mediante transilluminatore di visceri e porzioni muscolari, metodo della UV-press dei filetti e digestione con soluzione cloro- peptica del pacchetto viscerale. Tutti gli esemplari di spigola e orata esaminati sono risultati negativi per la presenza di stadi larvali di Anisakis spp. In un unico esemplare di spigola proveniente da un allevamento in gabbia è stata evidenziata la presenza di una larva di Hysterothylacium fabri (nematode non zoonotico) incistata sulla superficie del fegato ed identificata a livello di specie mediante PCR-RFLP. Alla luce della trasmissione di questo parassita a pesci predatori per via trofica, similmente ai nematodi Anisakidae zoonotici, nel prossimo futuro verranno condotte indagini mirate ad identificare i fattori di rischio che hanno condotto all’infestazione da H. fabri in allevamento, seppur in un unico esemplare, ed individuare gli eventuali punti critici da monitorare. I risultati ottenuti da questa indagine indicano comunque come nelle spigole e nelle orate allevate in Italia il rischio d’infestazione da Anisakis sia da ritenersi trascurabile, aprendo la via ad azioni di qualificazione dei prodotti della maricoltura mediterranea.

    in this work, a detailed study was carried out on the Celone river to quantify the nutrient loads delivered to the downstream reservoir on seasonal and annual time scale. An automatic sampler and a flow module were set up in a section of the river. Continuous measures of flow were carried out using a different frequency for water sampling when floods occurred and during normal or low flow state. Nutrient concentrations in the water samples were occurately determined in laboratory. Water quality of the river was found to vary considerably along the year in terms of nufrient concentration. Nitrate and total phosphorus are the moin cause of water pollution. Nutrient losses by surface runoff were essentially a winter process. The contribution per hectare of non poini sources can be estimoted at about 39 kg/ha of total nitrogen and 2.4 kg/ha of total phosphorus. Estimates of loads in terms of TN ond TP for the 21-day period of flood were calculated in 55 and 81 % of annual load, respectively.

    An Environmental Decision Support System, ARGO-EDSS, has been developed to aid the detection, prevention and management of oil spills in marine areas. The system manages heterogeneous data, acquired by a monitoring network of sensorized resources. The multisource data (satellite SAR images, environmental data acquired on buoys, marine traffic information) are processed to detect possible oil spills and, also, apply models for risk analysis, so as to identify areas with high risk of accident and improve their monitoring. To this end, ARGO-EDSS includes a so-called ARGOGeomatrix, which is a predictive model for Bayesian risk estimation. ARGO-EDSS is, also, meant to support the management of detected oil spills, by supplying specific suggestions according to intervention and recovery protocols, agreed with the Italian Coastguard Headquarters and the Coastguards of the National Park of the Tuscany Archipelago (Italy) and the National Marine Park of Zakynthos (Greece).

    Gli obiettivi di questo lavoro sono: i) classificare le aree di interfaccia urbano-rurale in un'area turistica del Nord della Sardegna ii) valutare l'evoluzione spazio temporale della presenza delle RUI in tali aree e iii) valutare l'evoluzione di alcuni indicatori connessi al rischio di incendio nelle aree di interfaccia. Lo studio è stato condotto in un'area costiera nel Nord Sardegna caratterizzata da un forte sviluppo turistico. La caratterizzazione e la mappatura delle aree di interfaccia urbano-rurali (RUI) sono state eseguite su unità temporali di circa 10 anni che vanno dal 1954 al 2008. Per ciascuna di esse, le aree di interfaccia sono state identificate, classificate e mappate seguendo la metodologia proposta da Lampin et al. (2009; 2010) tramite un tool sviluppato presso l'istituto IRSTEA nell'ambito del progetto europeo FUME. Lo studio ha evidenziato le potenzialità di questo tipo di analisi come strumento per i pianificatori e gli amministratori del territorio da utilizzare sia per la realizzazione di piani di prevenzione degli incendi boschivi sia per la pianificazione futura del territorio.

    Il rapporto ricostruisce la mappatura delle diverse azioni di comunicazione interna (verso i partner di progetto) ed esterna (verso diverse tipologie di interlocutori) svolte nell'ambito delle attività del progetto di BlueMed, (CSA: Coordination and Support Action finanziato da H2020 e coordinato dal DISTTA-CNR), che supporta l'omonima iniziativa europea per la crescita blu nel Mediterraneo. Obiettivo del documento è proporre un manuale operativo (una sorta di vademecum) per la gestione dei processi comunicativi a supporto dei gruppi di coordinamento dei progetti di ricerca e innovazione a valere su bandi competitivi, con particolare riferimento a quelli finanziati attraverso il programma quadro della Commissione Europea. I suggerimenti, forniti sulla base dell'esperienza maturata, dei punti di forza riscontrati e delle criticità affrontate, sono volti a massimizzare l'impatto di un'attività, quella della comunicazione, che richiede uno sforzo non trascurabile e competenze adeguate.

    L’anisakiasi è una zoonosi parassitaria di origine alimentare sostenuta da larve al terzo stadio (L3) di nematodi appartenenti alla famiglia Anisakidae ed in particolare al genere Anisakis. Soprattutto in seguito alla recente emergenza di sindromi allergiche da Anisakis, l’EFSA nel 2010 ha pubblicato un parere scientifico sui rischi correlati alla presenza di parassiti zoonotici in prodotti ittici, considerando sicura la pratica d’allevamento del salmone atlantico (Salmo salar) in quanto, se allevati partendo da avannotti prodotti in sistemi chiusi e alimentati sempre con mangime inerte, questi animali presenterebbero un rischio di infestazione da larve di Anisakis trascurabile. Su questa base, il Reg. UE n. 1276/2011, che modifica l’allegato III del Reg. CE n. 853\2004, puntualizza la possibile deroga al trattamento di congelamento, obbligatorio per i prodotti della pesca destinati ad essere consumati sotto forma di preparazioni a rischio (crudi, marinati, affumicati a freddo, ecc.), per i prodotti ittici derivanti da allevamento quando vengono rispettati i criteri definiti dall’EFSA analogamente al salmone atlantico. Appare quindi d’importanza strategica fornire dati scientifici estesi ed attendibili sull’assenza di parassiti zoonotici nei prodotti della maricoltura mediterranea non solo ai fini di una loro migliore qualificazione commerciale ma anche per una più facile applicabilità di tale deroga da parte delle autorità competenti. Nell’ambito delle attività di ricerca previste dal progetto europeo H2020 ParaFishControl “Advanced Tools and Research Strategies for Parasite Control in European farmed fish”, da marzo 2016 a giugno 2017 è stato condotto un esteso monitoraggio parassitologico in spigole (Dicentrarchus labrax) ed orate (Sparus aurata) allevate in Italia. Le attività di campionamento hanno coinvolto 4 allevamenti nazionali, di cui 3 in gabbie galleggianti ed uno in vasche a terra, prelevando almeno 258 esemplari per specie/allevamento suddivisi in 4 campionamenti a cadenza stagionale per un totale di 1040 spigole e 1090 orate. La numerosità campionaria è stata calcolata in modo da ottenere almeno il 95% di probabilità di evidenziare un esemplare positivo con prevalenza >2%. Per la ricerca di larve di nematodi Anisakidae sono stati associati: esame visivo diretto e mediante transilluminatore di visceri e porzioni muscolari, metodo della UV-press dei filetti e digestione con soluzione cloro- peptica del pacchetto viscerale. Tutti gli esemplari di spigola e orata esaminati sono risultati negativi per la presenza di stadi larvali di Anisakis spp. In un unico esemplare di spigola proveniente da un allevamento in gabbia è stata evidenziata la presenza di una larva di Hysterothylacium fabri (nematode non zoonotico) incistata sulla superficie del fegato ed identificata a livello di specie mediante PCR-RFLP. Alla luce della trasmissione di questo parassita a pesci predatori per via trofica, similmente ai nematodi Anisakidae zoonotici, nel prossimo futuro verranno condotte indagini mirate ad identificare i fattori di rischio che hanno condotto all’infestazione da H. fabri in allevamento, seppur in un unico esemplare, ed individuare gli eventuali punti critici da monitorare. I risultati ottenuti da questa indagine indicano comunque come nelle spigole e nelle orate allevate in Italia il rischio d’infestazione da Anisakis sia da ritenersi trascurabile, aprendo la via ad azioni di qualificazione dei prodotti della maricoltura mediterranea.

    in this work, a detailed study was carried out on the Celone river to quantify the nutrient loads delivered to the downstream reservoir on seasonal and annual time scale. An automatic sampler and a flow module were set up in a section of the river. Continuous measures of flow were carried out using a different frequency for water sampling when floods occurred and during normal or low flow state. Nutrient concentrations in the water samples were occurately determined in laboratory. Water quality of the river was found to vary considerably along the year in terms of nufrient concentration. Nitrate and total phosphorus are the moin cause of water pollution. Nutrient losses by surface runoff were essentially a winter process. The contribution per hectare of non poini sources can be estimoted at about 39 kg/ha of total nitrogen and 2.4 kg/ha of total phosphorus. Estimates of loads in terms of TN ond TP for the 21-day period of flood were calculated in 55 and 81 % of annual load, respectively.

    An Environmental Decision Support System, ARGO-EDSS, has been developed to aid the detection, prevention and management of oil spills in marine areas. The system manages heterogeneous data, acquired by a monitoring network of sensorized resources. The multisource data (satellite SAR images, environmental data acquired on buoys, marine traffic information) are processed to detect possible oil spills and, also, apply models for risk analysis, so as to identify areas with high risk of accident and improve their monitoring. To this end, ARGO-EDSS includes a so-called ARGOGeomatrix, which is a predictive model for Bayesian risk estimation. ARGO-EDSS is, also, meant to support the management of detected oil spills, by supplying specific suggestions according to intervention and recovery protocols, agreed with the Italian Coastguard Headquarters and the Coastguards of the National Park of the Tuscany Archipelago (Italy) and the National Marine Park of Zakynthos (Greece).

    Gli obiettivi di questo lavoro sono: i) classificare le aree di interfaccia urbano-rurale in un'area turistica del Nord della Sardegna ii) valutare l'evoluzione spazio temporale della presenza delle RUI in tali aree e iii) valutare l'evoluzione di alcuni indicatori connessi al rischio di incendio nelle aree di interfaccia. Lo studio è stato condotto in un'area costiera nel Nord Sardegna caratterizzata da un forte sviluppo turistico. La caratterizzazione e la mappatura delle aree di interfaccia urbano-rurali (RUI) sono state eseguite su unità temporali di circa 10 anni che vanno dal 1954 al 2008. Per ciascuna di esse, le aree di interfaccia sono state identificate, classificate e mappate seguendo la metodologia proposta da Lampin et al. (2009; 2010) tramite un tool sviluppato presso l'istituto IRSTEA nell'ambito del progetto europeo FUME. Lo studio ha evidenziato le potenzialità di questo tipo di analisi come strumento per i pianificatori e gli amministratori del territorio da utilizzare sia per la realizzazione di piani di prevenzione degli incendi boschivi sia per la pianificazione futura del territorio.
